This policy explains how Johnson Bros. Plumbing & Drain Cleaning collects and uses information when you visit our website, request service, use our AI booking assistant, or contact our team.
Information we collect
We collect information you submit through our website forms, online booking flows, AI-assisted chat, phone calls, and text messages. This may include your name, address, phone number, email address, property details, service description, and appointment preferences. We only collect what's needed to respond to your request or complete the work you're asking about.
AI-assisted chat and booking
Our website includes an AI-assisted booking assistant (Cory) that can answer questions and help schedule service. When you use this feature, the content of your conversation — including any contact information you provide — is processed to generate a response and route your request to the right team. We do not use your chat content for advertising purposes. Conversations may be reviewed to improve accuracy and service quality.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to respond to service inquiries, schedule and confirm appointments, send job updates and reminders, follow up after service, and improve our website and marketing. We may also use website analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site so we can make it more useful.
Website analytics and advertising measurement
This website uses the direct Google tag for Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Ads conversion measurement, plus a privacy-bounded Umami analytics service hosted for Johnson Bros. These services help us understand traffic sources, pages viewed, device type, approximate city or region, and completed website actions. We do not send form contents, chat messages, names, phone numbers, email addresses, or street addresses as analytics event data. Google may set browser identifiers such as the _ga cookie to distinguish browsers and sessions. You can limit Google Analytics through Google's opt-out browser add-on or your browser's privacy and cookie settings.
Cookies and browser storage
The site uses a small amount of browser storage to support booking and remember privacy-bounded traffic attribution, such as campaign and landing-page information. Booking preferences such as service type and appointment slot may be held during the session and cleared after submission. Contact details and service-request text are not written into analytics cookies or analytics attribution fields.
Phone calls and SMS
When you call us, we may use call tracking software to associate the call with the marketing source that brought you to the site. This helps us understand which channels are driving service requests. If you submit a service request or opt into text message updates, we may send appointment confirmations, job status updates, and follow-up messages related to your service. Standard messaging rates from your carrier may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
Sharing with service providers
We may share your information with third-party vendors who help us run the business — including our scheduling system, analytics platforms, website hosting, and communication tools. These providers only process your data as needed to support Johnson Bros. Plumbing operations. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Your choices
You can contact us at any time to request updates to your contact information, ask how your data is being used, or opt out of non-essential communications. To opt out of marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any message we've sent. To opt out of text messages, reply STOP. To opt out of Google Analytics tracking, use Google's browser add-on or your browser's privacy settings. Service-related communications tied to a scheduled or active job may still be sent as part of completing the work you requested.
