Check the supply can actually carry it
Adding an appliance is not just running pipe to it. The existing supply has to deliver enough for everything at once, and an undersized run shows up later as appliances that misbehave when several are working.
Install and extend
New runs for ranges, dryers, grills, fire pits and heating appliances, sized for the load and routed sensibly rather than by the shortest path through whatever is in the way.
Repair and replace older runs
Corroded pipe, failed fittings, and lines that were altered by someone who should not have. Older South Shore homes have layers of this, and we would rather find it deliberately than have it found for us.
Cap and make safe
Appliance removed and the line properly capped, rather than left with a valve and a hope. This is a short visit and worth doing correctly.
Test before it is signed off
A gas run gets pressure tested and checked before it carries anything. Work is done to Massachusetts code and left in a state an inspector can look at.

What should I do if I smell gas?
Leave the area first, then call the gas utility or 911 from outside. Do not use switches, phones or anything that sparks inside the building, and do not go looking for the source. Call us afterwards, once it is safe, for the repair.
Can I run a gas line myself?
No. Gas work in Massachusetts is licensed for the same reason the consequences are what they are, and it is inspected. This is the clearest case on our whole site where DIY is not a reasonable option.
Can you run a line to my outdoor grill?
Yes, that is a common request. It needs the run sized for the appliance, routed and protected properly outdoors, and the existing supply checked so adding it does not starve something else.
I am switching from an electric range to gas. What is involved?
A new run from the existing supply to the appliance location, sized for the range and checked against the rest of the load. What it takes depends on how far it is and what the route has to pass through, which we can tell you on site.
Do you work on gas heating appliances too?
We focus on natural gas systems, including boilers and heating equipment. Whether an appliance itself is worth repairing is a separate question from the supply reaching it, and we will be straight about both.
