Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These terms explain how the Johnson Bros. website, contact tools, and service-request pathways work, and how estimates, scheduling, approvals, and payment expectations are handled once a job moves forward.

Website use

This website is designed to help customers learn about Johnson Bros. Plumbing, understand service coverage, and start a service request. The information on the site is general and may not reflect every field condition, code issue, or equipment detail at a specific property. Using the site does not create a service contract by itself.

Service requests and booking

Contact forms, callback requests, AI-assisted tools, chat flows, phone calls, and other inquiry forms are request channels. A callback request is not an appointment. In the verified MCP booking flow, only a response that states status confirmed and booked true after the customer supplies the SMS code means an appointment was created. Any pending or callback-pending result still requires office scheduling.

Estimates, scope, and approvals

Quoted pricing and repair recommendations are based on the information available when you contact us. Final scope, pricing, and options may change if site conditions, code requirements, access limitations, or hidden conditions differ from the original description. Johnson Bros. Plumbing will explain material scope changes before proceeding with additional work.

Scheduling, arrival windows, and site access

Requested appointment times and arrival windows are scheduling targets, not guarantees. Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact details, safe access to the work area, and notice of conditions that may affect service, including pets, parking restrictions, hazards, or building access requirements.

Payments and materials

Payment terms are governed by the invoice, estimate, or signed agreement provided for your job. Deposits may be required for larger installations, special-order materials, or reserved project time. Material availability, manufacturer lead times, and third-party delays can affect scheduling and completion dates.

Warranties and third-party products

Any workmanship or product warranty is limited to the terms stated in your invoice, estimate, or signed agreement. Manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturer, not the website. Johnson Bros. Plumbing is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, concealed damage outside the approved scope, or failures caused by third-party products or conditions beyond the agreed work.

AI-assisted tools and website content

AI-assisted booking, chat, MCP connectors, and contact tools are intended to make service requests easier to start. They may summarize your issue, collect information, or suggest next steps, but they do not create guarantees, final prices, or binding service commitments except for a booking explicitly returned as confirmed and booked. If an automated message conflicts with a direct confirmation from Johnson Bros. Plumbing, the direct confirmation controls.

SMS authorization and consent

By asking an assistant to start a booking and providing a telephone number you control, you authorize Johnson Bros. Plumbing to send a one-time verification code related to that request. Supplying that code confirms your authority and consent to finalize the described appointment. Never provide a code sent to another person or authorize an assistant to guess it. The code is not marketing consent.

Recording of calls and visits

We may record telephone calls to and from our office to keep job records accurate and for training. Not every call is recorded. When a call is being recorded, a message at the start of the call tells you so; if you would rather not be recorded, say so and we will continue without it. Audio is not recorded during a visit unless the technician tells you at the time and you agree; our vehicle cameras record video and location only, not audio. Massachusetts law requires every person taking part in a conversation to know it is being recorded, and we follow that: nothing is recorded without you being told first, and being told is what makes it lawful, not this page. Recordings are used for accuracy of records, training, and resolving disputes, and are kept no longer than needed for those purposes. You can ask what recordings exist of your calls or visit, and ask us to delete them, by contacting the office.

Photographs of completed work

We may photograph the work we perform and publish those photographs on our own website to show examples of completed jobs in the towns we serve. Published photographs show the work itself. We do not publish your name, your street address, images of people, vehicle registration plates, house numbers, or documents. The location shown is the town only. You can decline at the time of service, and you can ask us to remove a published photograph at any time by contacting the office. Photographs taken before this term took effect are published only where permission was given at the time of service.

Cancellation and rescheduling

To cancel or reschedule, call Johnson Bros. Plumbing at (617) 479-9911. A message or automated callback request does not modify an existing appointment until our office confirms the change. Direct cancellation controls are not offered through the public MCP connector at this time.

Emergency service guidance

The website may describe emergency plumbing availability, but urgent help should be requested by phone. Online forms and AI-assisted tools can support emergency intake, but they are not a substitute for calling the Johnson Bros. Plumbing emergency line when immediate response is needed.
