My boiler stopped working in the middle of the night — what should I do?
Call us immediately at (617) 479-9911. No-heat calls are treated as urgent in heating season. Before we arrive, check that the thermostat is calling for heat and that the boiler power switch is on. If you smell gas or see smoke, leave the area first and call the gas utility or 911 as needed.
What does a boiler repair cost?
We charge a $99 service fee that applies toward the repair. Once we diagnose the problem, we give you an upfront price before any work starts. Boiler repairs vary widely by the failed part and by whether the system can be repaired safely.
Should I repair or replace my boiler?
It depends on the condition of the boiler, the failed component, and whether the repair solves the larger problem. If the block is sound and the repair is straightforward, repair often makes sense. If the boiler has a leaking block, repeat failures, or major corrosion, replacement is usually the better long-term call. We will tell you directly which side of that line your system is on.
Do you work on both oil and gas boilers?
